North East Bankers Conclave

Under the aegis of the Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region (MDoNER), Government of India, the North East Bankers’ Conclave 2026, scheduled to be held on 13th October 2026, is North East India’s premier leadership platform dedicated to the banking and financial sector.
Led by the North Eastern Development Finance Corporation Limited (NEDFi), the Conclave will bring together eminent leaders and stakeholders from across the financial and development ecosystem, including Commercial Banks, Development Finance Institutions, Start-ups, Policy Makers, Think Tanks, Micro-Lending Institutions, Regulatory Authorities, Entrepreneurs, and other key stakeholders.The North East Bankers’ Conclave is envisioned as a curated platform for meaningful dialogue, deliberation, and exchange of ideas on the role of the banking and financial sector in accelerating the economic development of the North Eastern Region (NER). The Conclave will provide an opportunity to deliberate upon the evolving financial landscape of the region, key issues and challenges, emerging opportunities, and the way forward for strengthening financial institutions as catalysts for sustainable and inclusive growth.
With the participation of leading bankers, regulators, industry experts, policymakers, entrepreneurs, and other stakeholders, the Conclave seeks to foster greater collaboration, identify actionable solutions, and facilitate new ideas and partnerships that can contribute to the transformative and sustainable development of North East India.
